[TUTORIAL] by C: Make your lips flutter!

Hey guys!
Do you ever randomly get inspired at 9pm on a weekday night and decide to play around with a bunch of makeup? Yes it happened to me (as always). I was browsing the web when suddenly out of nowhere I heard a voice telling me to do a butterfly inspired look. I know, random right? So I decided to replicate the beautiful butterfly pattern on my...lips!

 Let's get started!

1. Make sure your lips are exfoliated and well moisturised.

2. Conceal away! For a clean canvas.

3. For a longer lasting result & better colour payoff, apply a primer. Here, I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

4. Using the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, apply Half Baked all over lips.

5. Using the BH Cosmetics palette apply the gold colour on the mid regions of lips.

6. Using the Savoir Fair palette apply the orange shadow on the outer region of lips.

7. Using the BH Cosmetics palette apply the pink shadow on the corners o lips.

8. Using the BH Cosmetics palette outline the lips using the red shadow.

9. Use Bootycall from the Naked 2 palette and apply to the centre of your lips as a highlighter.

10. Now it's time to draw those lines! Use a black pencil eyeliner to line the edges first.

11. Time to clean up those edges around the lips with some eye makeup remover and a cotton tip!

12. Conceal the edges by applying a concealer using a cotton tip, then blen in carefully with your fingers.

Nice & neat!
13. Using a liquid eyeliner, start drawing rough lines of the butterfly wing pattern.
(Excuse the split pen tip! As much as I love this Maybelline Master Precise liner, it has its pros & cons)

14. Define the outer edges by tracing over the previous line.

15. Using the Prestige eyeliner in white, draw small dots on the outer corners of your lips.

hmmm looks a bit messy..
16. Re-define the outer lines to accentuate those white dots.

And there you have it!! Your lips are now ready to fly off to a magical place ;D

I hope you guys found this tutorial interesting and somewhat useful. Because I'm sure you will be going out on your next date with this sexy look. I DARE YOU >:)

Stay tuned for the butterfly look part two where I apply eyeshadow on my eyes where they belong.
And let us know what look we should try next!

Thank you for stopping by <3
Love, Court :)
